Sponsored advertising goes hand in hand with an established and popular blog. Companies will look for these types of blog that have high traffic, and subject matter relevant to their business.
Established Blog Network sites like weblogsinc and b5media will get you setup by promoting, administering and optimizing your blog, leaving you to concentrate on writing content for various different topics.
When starting out it might be difficult to get a writing position with the bigger networks, but there are plenty of networks looking for new bloggers to join and are willing to pay bloggers using a variety of payment models.
